Do you have to have a website to start
your own Bible Institute?
While we supply the files you need to run
your institute online, it isn't a necessity that you do so. You
can run your Institute from a church office, a home, or anywhere
you choose. You can even set up your institute as a
correspondence school if you would like.
What, if anything, should we charge our
students?
We recommend that you do charge your
students, even if it is a nominal fee. We have found that people
are much more diligent to complete their studies when they have
paid for them. While you cannot charge for the actual study
guides, you can charge for registration, processing, and
administration. You can charge per course taken, or per program.
We think a fair price would be $125.00 per certificate program,
or $10.00 per course.
How do we process payments via credit
card?
If you run your institute online you will
definitely want to be able to process credit cards and
electronic checks, but most people do not want to go through the
process of setting up a merchant account. We recommend
PayPal. It
will not cost you anything to sign up and you will be able to
process all major credit cards and e-checks within minutes.
What reproducible forms do you include on
the CD?
Old and New Testament Certificates of Completion - Student Grade
Sheet - E-Mail/Letter of Introduction to Students -E-Mail/Letter
of Welcome to Students who have enrolled - Bulletin Insert -
Promotional Poster - In
short...every form you need will be included! The forms come in
MS Word, RTF, and PDF formats so you can edit them if you so
choose.
Do you host our website or do we need to
host our own?
We do not host your website. If you don't
have a church website where you can post your institute, you can
either go with a free website provider, such as
www.freeservers.com (they will place ads on your website),
or an inexpensive web hosting service like
www.ehostpros.com .
If we place our Bible Institute online,
who will customize the files you send us?
There are only a few places where you will need to edit the
files, like adding your institute's name, founder's name,
contact information, and payment processor. Anyone who is
familiar with working with the simplest web pages will be able
to do this. If you don't know how to do it yourself, there is
most likely someone in your church and/or a friend who can do
this for you.
How difficult are the study guides?
That depends on the student! They are easy
enough that a person just starting out studying the Bible will
be able to complete them without too much of a struggle. On the
other hand, these are not lightweight studies and will take a
disciplined effort on the student's part to complete. Most of
the work consists of looking up passages in the Bible and
answering questions. There are no research papers involved. The
idea is to help to train people in the Christian faith to the
point that they are able to teach others.
Here are a couple of sample guides (you
will need the
Adobe Reader to view these files):
Ecclesiastes - 2
Corinthians
(these are large files and will take a minute or two to load).
Would this be a good outreach for a
church?
Most definitely! We think one of the best
uses of the Bible Institute is to make it a part of the local
church program. It can be used to train people already attending
your church, and can also be used to attract those who are not
yet members. This is one of the most inexpensive outreach/inreach
programs you will find anywhere!
Is there a sample Bible
Institute I can view prior to ordering?
Yes, just

Can we offer degrees?
In a word, "No." There are two reasons for
this: 1) While these studies are not "pushovers" they are also
not at the college level. To offer a college degree for
completing these studies would not be ethical; 2) Most States
require approval of degree granting institutions and regulate
the practice. In other words, if you offer a degree without
approval from the State you are located in, you're most likely
asking for trouble.
Will our Bible Institute be accredited?
Again, these are not college level courses
so there is no need for accreditation. Our programs are not
accredited by any agency approved by the U.S. Department of
Education. The good news is, there is no need for accreditation
at this level.
When you say the CDs are reproducible,
what do you mean?
If you have a CD Copier (which almost all of today's
computers have) you are free to make as many copies of the
curriculum and commentary CDs as you choose. You cannot charge
for the material on the CDs but you can charge for the cost of
reproduction and mailing. We offer additional copies of these
CDs at a reasonable cost if you choose not to reproduce your
own. Just

How long does it take for the package to
arrive once we've ordered?
If you order from within the United States
your order should arrive within 5 business days of your order.
Postage and Handling are included in our price if shipped to a
U.S. address. Orders outside the U.S. and Canada will be sent
Global Express Mail and a $20.00 fee will be added to the order.
